Fnac Darty, a European omnichannel retailer with 988 stores, 24 million monthly site visitors and over 25,000 employees, needed a unified fraud solution after its 2016 merger to reduce losses, streamline multi-brand/multi-country operations and preserve flexible customer journeys across many delivery and payment options.

After a 2018 RFP the group implemented Accertify’s Interceptas platform—a centralised, flexible anti-fraud system that ingests Fnac Darty data as‑is, automates reviews, and provides reporting and team management. The deployment (live for Black Friday) cut card chargebacks by more than 30% and false positives by about 50% (based on 2022 client data), speeding manual reviews, increasing accepted orders and improving overall productivity.
