Weekendesk, a travel website that helps users find weekend trip deals, needed a way to run A/B tests and feature releases without adding client-side JavaScript/CSS that could hurt performance. After trying an in-house solution, Weekendesk became an early adopter of AB Tasty’s Flagship feature-management and experimentation platform to get server-side control, preserve front-end performance, and enable safer, more autonomous product testing.

AB Tasty’s Flagship was integrated quickly and required only one extra HTTPS request, letting Weekendesk launch its first tests in just a few days. The platform’s intuitive UI, progressive rollouts, feature flags and experimentation tools reduced release risk, sped up deployments, and enabled concurrent A/B campaigns (including a planned progressive rollout of a new PSP), giving Weekendesk greater autonomy and faster, lower-risk optimization.
