Petsonic Increases Traffic to Their Registration Page by 147% with one Pop-up

Petsonic, a Spanish e-commerce site for pet owners active also in France, Belgium and Italy, wanted to turn more of its 20,000+ monthly returning visitors into registered customers without increasing traffic acquisition spend. To test a registration-driving incentive, Petsonic used AB Tasty’s A/B testing platform (leveraging its WYSIWYG editor) to create and deploy a registration pop-up offering a 5% first-purchase discount.

Using AB Tasty, Petsonic ran a one-month A/B test that showed the pop-up variant increased traffic to the registration page by 147%, reduced bounce rate by about 10%, and produced results with 100% reliability; the uplift was consistent across Spanish, French and Italian sites.
