Kiehl’s partnered with AB Tasty to tackle a clear e-commerce challenge: maximize total revenue and lift average order value on its proprietary site. The brand wanted to nudge shoppers on the basket page to add items to reach a threshold for a free branded gift; AB Tasty supported the effort using its conversion optimization platform and WYSIWYG editor.

AB Tasty implemented a visual “barometer” on the basket page showing progress toward the free-gift threshold (set-up in about 3 hours). The result was a measurable uplift: 7% more clicks on the “continue” CTA, ~5% higher average basket size, 25% more additional purchases, and a 31% increase in total revenue (31% more revenue per visitor).
