ECCO, a global footwear and leather goods retailer, wanted to increase online sales by improving the product-page user experience for its already high-volume eCommerce traffic. To do this they engaged AB Tasty, using its A/B testing and personalization SaaS (WYSIWYG editor and developer assistant) to test targeted UX changes on product pages.
AB Tasty implemented an A/B test that set country shoe size defaults to AU, moved and enlarged the “ADD TO BAG” CTA above the fold, removed a misleading banner, and added reassurance icons for free delivery/returns and shipping time (with mobile users excluded and ajax targeting to keep changes persistent). The 2.5-month test reached 99% confidence and showed the variation outperformed the original with a 17.34% uplift in conversions.
