Working with AB Tasty, Avid used the vendor’s A/B testing and personalization capabilities to experiment with how a bonus gift for Media Composer subscriptions was presented on product pages.
AB Tasty ran an A/B test comparing a purple top-of-page banner to bold bullets under subscription options and implemented a sticky, custom-CSS faded banner for a 60% audio plugin promotion. The purple banner won—delivering a 34% increase in transactions—and was converted into a live personalization; the sticky banner drove clicks that converted at 15% for those visitors.
