Skagit Valley Hospital, a 137‑bed facility in Mount Vernon, WA, faced the October 1, 2015 ICD‑10 deadline, which dramatically expanded code sets and required clinicians to document patient care with much greater detail. The hospital needed an efficient, flexible training solution—one that would engage busy physicians and go beyond the generic ICD‑10 offerings many vendors provided.

Skagit Valley used HealthcareSource’s NetLearning LMS and eLearning Library, selecting the HCPro ICD‑10 Physician Documentation Package and ICD‑10 Bootcamp for coders and business staff.
