VNE Corporation, a Janesville, WI–based manufacturer of industrial stainless steel fittings and part of the Neumo‑Ehrenberg Group, needed to replace an awkward hybrid AT&T phone system that was hard to manage. Moves and user changes could take half a day, third‑party reporting was unreliable, and reception relied on someone physically at the desk, so Network Manager Rick Kaltenberg sought a trusted cloud UCaaS solution.

VNE migrated to 8x8 Work and 8x8 Frontdesk, adding paging, mobile call‑flip, caller ID/blocking, and call queues so backup staff can answer remotely.
