This disjointed environment made administration costly and complex and hindered collaboration among administrative staff, factory workers, and contact center agents, prompting nVent to look for a single, globally flexible solution with Microsoft Teams integration.
nVent chose 8x8 (Work with Voice for Microsoft Teams, Frontdesk, and Contact Center), piloting in 2020 and then rolling out company-wide. The Teams integration provided a familiar interface for users while 8x8’s unified UCaaS/CCaaS platform simplified deployment and administration. The result: consolidation from 60 systems to one global platform, significant infrastructure and staffing cost savings, faster deployments, improved productivity and collaboration, and better support for hybrid work.
