Delivering a unified communications solution to DC Advisory Partners

DC Advisory Partners, a pan‑European corporate finance house based in the City of London, faced a critical communications challenge while preparing to move offices: an eight‑year‑old, in‑house phone system with a single point of failure that lacked unified communications, disaster recovery, remote‑working capabilities and easy scalability across its European network. With client work heavily phone‑dependent, DCAP needed a robust, flexible infrastructure that could be rolled out across locations and support business growth.

8x8 delivered a hosted VoIP and MPLS solution with Cisco and Polycom hardware, video conferencing and features such as Personal Phone Manager, Find Me/Follow Me, hunt and pick‑up groups and remote voicemail access. The new platform improved resilience and collaboration (regular video links between London and Manchester), enabled staff to take direct calls while traveling, and delivered significant cost savings — in‑system savings of £123,782, monthly savings of £1,120 (£13,440 pa) and projected five‑year savings of £190,982.
