Delaware Electric Cooperative, a nonprofit member-owned utility serving more than 90,000 households in Delaware, needed to replace a decade-old phone system that depended on one dedicated administrator and was difficult for IT to manage. The company wanted a simpler, cloud-based communications platform that would be easier for employees to use and support better customer service, so it turned to 8x8.
8x8 implemented 8x8 Work and 8x8 Contact Center, with MNB IT helping migrate call flows, automate systems, and train users. The result was a more intuitive, hands-off system for IT, a short learning curve for employees, and improved mobility for staff using the mobile app. Delaware Electric Cooperative says 8x8 has removed much of the troubleshooting burden and is helping future-proof its phone system for ongoing updates and growth.
