RPM Performance Coatings Group, a division of RPM International, is a global manufacturer of specialty coatings and related products that needed to replace an aging network of Nortel PBXs to support international growth. The legacy system worked domestically but could not scale or unify multinational sites, and because customers rely heavily on voice for orders, the company needed a reliable, global communications platform that also supported remote and mobile workers.
RPM deployed 8x8’s cloud communications (voice, video and contact center) running over the open Internet, eliminating the need for private voice lines and one-off vendor integrations.
