Pita Way is a Michigan-based fast-casual chain founded in 2010 that now operates 10 locations with about 108 employees. As the brand scaled, leadership struggled with manual scheduling, limited visibility into labor and staffing (made worse during the pandemic), paper task checklists, and communicating consistently across a large team.

By adopting 7shifts (integrated with Toast POS) Pita Way centralized scheduling, shift swaps, 1,000 yearly time-off requests, task management (7tasks) and company-wide announcements with read receipts. The results: average labor cost per location dropped from 32% to 23% (a 9-point improvement), teams completed 36,000 tasks since November 2019 (driving accountability and cleaner stores), and cross-store communication and performance tracking improved hiring, coverage and service consistency.
