Zyxel Wi-Fi APs Provide Internet Access to Chain of German Conference Hotels

Göbel Hotel Group, a German hospitality chain led by CEO Markus Göbel, needed to update and expand its hotel network to improve stability, bandwidth, and seamless wireless access for guests and conference attendees. The group had to support everyday guest internet use, business meetings, video streaming, and multiple devices in a high-demand conference environment, so it turned to Zyxel for a more reliable wireless solution.

Zyxel implemented business access points and a hotspot/service gateway, including the G4100 Hotspot/Service Gateway, to simplify guest access, billing, and network management. The result was a secure, stable, and scalable WLAN that now supports 35 Zyxel access points, 21 security cameras, and 13 cash registers at the flagship Prinz von Hessen hotel, while enabling quick guest connectivity and better service for conferences and events.
