ZyXEL Solution Provides Istanbul Student Hostel with Convenient and Secure Network Access

Konforist Edu. Suites Male Student Hostel in Istanbul needed a modern, scalable network to provide uninterrupted, secure internet access for students and staff while meeting Turkey’s Law No. 5651 regulations. Zyxel was brought in to upgrade the hostel’s infrastructure with wired and wireless networking and security products, including a next-gen unified security gateway, dual-radio access points, a wireless LAN controller, and GbE L2 switches.

Zyxel implemented a centralized, future-proof network using the USG1100 security gateway, NXC5500 wireless LAN controller, NWA5123-NI access points, and GS2210 switches to deliver stable, high-speed connectivity and stronger access control. The solution also supported hotspot login and detailed logging for legal compliance, resulting in a secure, easy-to-manage network with scalable WLAN support for up to 18 APs through the gateway and up to 512 APs through the controller.
