ZyXEL provides easy wireless access broadband to Deanwater Hotel

Deanwater Hotel, a privately owned Cheshire hotel serving guests for over 35 years, needed a cost-effective way to provide wired and wireless broadband to stay competitive with other hotels and meet the expectations of business travelers and conference guests. Working with Zyxel, the hotel sought a simple-to-manage connectivity and billing solution that would support all areas of the property, including guest rooms, conference rooms, and public spaces.

Zyxel implemented broadband gateways, G-4100 wireless access points, and an automated ticket-printing billing system, with two wireless hotspots and VDSL service to 44 guest rooms delivering speeds of up to 20Mbps. The rollout was completed in just five days, improved guest service, simplified billing and management, and helped Deanwater Hotel recoup its investment while preparing for future services such as VoIP and IPTV.
