Zyxel Nebula and SD-WAN Solutions Foster Russia’s Future IT Wizardry

MIEM HSE, the School of Computer Engineering at the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics, needed modern, futureproof networking equipment to improve education, attract students and staff, and provide technical training on current network technologies. Vendor Zyxel was selected to support these goals with its Nebula and SD-WAN solutions.

Zyxel implemented a cloud-managed network built around the NSG50 Nebula Cloud Managed Security Gateway, VPN50 firewall, GS1920-8HPv2 smart managed switch, and NWA1123-ACv2 access points, all managed through Nebula Control Center. The result was quick, intuitive deployment, remote visibility and control, and hands-on experience with cloud management and SD-WAN; students also benefited from Zyxel certification programs that prepared them for real-world work after graduation.
