Zyxel LTE Solution Delivers Speed and Reliability to Finnish Telecom

DNA, Finland’s third-largest telecom provider, needed a better way to support corporate customers using office routers with integrated LTE. Their existing setup couldn’t fully use DNA’s advanced mobile network, and the routers were often installed in weak-signal locations, making external antennas an unreliable workaround. Zyxel’s LTE solution, including the LTE7460 4G LTE-A Outdoor Router, was introduced to address these limitations.

Zyxel implemented the LTE7460 with customized firmware for DNA, enabling easy outdoor placement, a single Ethernet/PoE connection, and the ability to route or bridge traffic to the customer’s local network. The result was faster and more reliable mobile connectivity, improved use of DNA’s high-speed network, and better redundancy for fixed-line customers, with LTE Cat 6 speeds of up to 300 Mbps and carrier aggregation for more efficient spectrum use.
