KEBAG Waste Management Inc., a Swiss waste incineration plant operator, needed a reliable and secure network to manage critical control systems across multiple buildings. Zyxel was chosen to provide the networking foundation, using managed Gigabit switches and unified security gateways to support plant operations, monitoring, and data collection.
Zyxel implemented a network built on GS2200 Series managed switches and USG 100/200 security gateways, enabling secure remote access via VPN, OTP-based authentication, and resilient server connectivity. The result was enhanced security, backup switching for greater stability, and robust connectivity for control and management tasks across the facility, helping keep the plant operational without interruption.
