US Internet Deploys Super Fast Internet over Active Fiber Using End-to-End ZyXEL Gear, USA

US Internet, a global internet and hosting services provider based in Minnesota, needed a cost-effective way to deliver super fast broadband to more than 20,000 subscribers after copper-based options and GPON proved too expensive. Zyxel provided an active fiber-based solution using ES-3124F switches in the central office, along with the FSG1100HN gateway and NBG4615 wireless router at the customer premises.

With Zyxel’s end-to-end equipment, US Internet built an active Ethernet fiber network that could be remotely managed, quickly installed, and easily scaled for tiered service offerings. The result was a reliable, lower-cost broadband deployment that reduced support calls and truck rolls, improved customer satisfaction, and positioned US Internet for future gigabit upgrades.
