University Connects Video Conference Center to International Partners with Zyxel Solution

The University of Central Europe in Skalica in Slovakia needed a new network infrastructure to support videoconferencing with partner schools and universities, despite incompatible technologies across sites. Working with Zyxel, the university deployed a mix of next-gen security, smart managed, and PoE switches to create a stable, secure environment for both wired and wireless connections.

Zyxel implemented a scalable network architecture centered on the USG1100 security gateway, GS1910 smart managed switches, XGS3700 L2+ switches, and GS2200-8HP PoE switches to manage traffic for VoIP, video conferencing, IPTV, and surveillance. As a result, the university established secure, high-performance connectivity between its Slovak campuses and foreign partners, enabling reliable videoconferencing without disruptive interference and paving the way for further expansion to more international locations.
