Turkish Metal Manufacturer Links Operations with Zyxel Solution

Aveks, a Turkish metal manufacturer with offices and warehouses across Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, needed to modernize its network infrastructure. The company wanted secure and stable connectivity between its headquarters and branches, higher bandwidth, and a way to log guest internet activity in line with Turkish Law No. 5651. To address these needs, Aveks worked with Zyxel, using a Zyxel wireless solution alongside networking and security products.

Zyxel, together with local partner MEB Computer, implemented a site-to-site VPN between Aveks’s Istanbul offices, configured VLANs to separate guest and staff traffic, and connected servers with 10Gb SFPs for higher-speed local traffic. The deployment also added Wi‑Fi coverage with Zyxel WAC6502D-S access points and enabled guest internet access via Turkish ID-based logging. As a result, Aveks achieved secure, centrally managed connectivity with improved bandwidth, better network isolation, and compliance with logging requirements, boosting productivity and service quality.
