Turkish Business School Closes Deal on New Network Infrastructure

TEVİTÖL Schools, a Turkish education institution serving highly skilled students with financial difficulties, needed a fast, stable, and secure campus network. With many classrooms and buildings spread across a 416-acre site, the school faced weak wireless coverage, heavy traffic at peak times, and the need to protect users and sensitive data. Zyxel provided a wired and wireless solution including a Unified Security Gateway, switches, a wireless LAN controller, and indoor/outdoor access points.

Zyxel and its partner PM Group implemented a campus-wide network built around the USG1900, NXC5500, XGS4700 and GS2210 switches, plus WAC6553D-E and NWA5123-AC access points. The result was rapid deployment, secure communications, stable and fast Internet access, and stronger wireless coverage across classrooms and facilities. The school also reported that the new network tripled the performance of its legacy communication infrastructure and handled high access demand with quick connections.
