Turkey’s Student Dormitory Secures Network Access with ZyXEL Products

Vadi54, a luxury student dormitory in Sakarya, Turkey, needed to provide reliable wired and wireless Internet access for 420 residents while maintaining a secure environment and complying with Turkey’s Internet Act (Law No. 5651). Zyxel helped address these needs with Business Access Points and a VPN Firewall solution.

Zyxel implemented 50 NWA1100-N access points and two ZyWALL 310 VPN firewalls to deliver stable dorm-wide connectivity, simplify network management, and enforce secure, regulated Internet use. The result was broad wireless coverage, better service quality for students, monitoring and logging capabilities, and a compliant network environment that helped prevent illegal Internet access throughout the dormitory.
