Troxy, the Grade II-listed London theater and live events venue, needed a more reliable way to provide Internet access for corporate clients, visitors, employees, and production teams. Its previous mix of broadband lines and routers was unstable, and cabling/access point placement was limited by the building’s historic constraints. Zyxel was brought in to help deliver a better wireless network using products such as a VPN firewall, managed switches, access points, and a wireless LAN controller.

Zyxel and its partner Connecting London Ltd implemented a centrally managed network built around Smart Antenna access points, PoE switches, and a core firewall to provide flexible coverage across the venue. The new setup gave Troxy reliable, dedicated 24/7 connectivity, uninterrupted bandwidth for live-streaming and event production, and scalable Wi-Fi for different user groups. As a result, the venue could better support events of around 2,000 attendees with improved stability, security, and quality of service.
