Trojský Vrch Uses ZyXEL Technology to Facilitate Internet Connection, Czech Republic

Trojský Vrch, a large apartment complex in the Czech Republic, needed a way to deliver high-speed Internet, IP telephony, and IP TV to more than 800 apartments using the existing telephone infrastructure. Zyxel provided a VDSL-based access solution, including the VES1724-56 IP DSLAM and P-870HN-51b gateway, to improve connectivity without the cost and disruption of laying new cables.

Zyxel implemented the network by placing the VES1724-56 DSLAM close to the complex and distributing service over the existing telephone lines to each apartment, with in-home P-870HN-51b routers enabling Wi‑Fi and triple-play services. The result was a fast, stable, and cost-effective rollout that supported nearly 1,000 apartments, reduced installation time and material/labor costs, and allowed lower service prices for end users.
