Taxing Network Issues Prompts WiFi Network Overhaul

The Income Tax Department of India, Ghaziabad office, needed to replace a legacy wireless setup that was unreliable, poorly secured, not centrally managed, and lacked redundancy. To address these issues, Zyxel provided a wireless solution built around 802.11ac access points, a wireless LAN controller, and PoE switches.

Zyxel implemented a centrally managed WiFi network using WAC6103D-I access points, an NXC2500 wireless LAN controller, and XGS3700 Series switches. The new setup delivered stronger wireless coverage and performance, seamless roaming across facilities, improved security, and built-in redundancy for better uptime, giving the department a scalable, future-proof network.
