SVS and STC in Písek, a secondary vocational school and training college, needed a secure way to connect multiple campuses and boarding facilities while giving students reliable internet access. Their challenge was to improve connectivity, centralize administration, and block inappropriate web content such as pornography and other non-educational sites. Zyxel’s web content filtering and firewall solutions were selected to support this need.

Zyxel implemented a network built around ZyWALL 35, ZyWALL 5, and ZyWALL P1 devices, linking remote sites through VPN and WiMAX while also enabling centralized services such as mail, Active Directory, file sharing, and a terminal server. The result was a faster and more reliable internet experience, efficient content filtering, and major time savings for administrators through centralized management. The deployment was completed in two days, including installation.
