Case Study: Avtorus achieves smoother stocktaking across warehouses with Zyxel wireless solution

A Zyxel Case Study

Preview of the Avtorus Case Study

Stocktaking Has Never Been Smoother for This Russian Auto Chain

Avtorus, a major Russian aftermarket auto chain with eight wholesale branches, 14 large shopping and service centers, and a central warehouse, needed a more reliable WiFi infrastructure to support constant inventory management and a planned automated stocktaking system. Its existing network suffered from instability and failures, making the business look for a fault-tolerant, easy-to-manage, and reasonably priced wireless solution from Zyxel.

Zyxel implemented a wireless networking solution across Avtorus’s warehouses, using about 400 access points, 115 switches, and 17 wireless LAN controllers to create stable connectivity for stocktaking and inventory tracking. The deployment was completed over about a year by six specialists, eliminating prior dropout issues and enabling smooth operations; Avtorus reported no implementation problems and said any equipment issues were quickly fixed with firmware upgrades.
