Spanish Hotel Connects Guests to Sand, Sun, and Stable WiFi

Hilton Garden Inn Málaga, a four-star hotel in Spain, needed to replace a legacy network that could not reliably support 200+ guests, staff, and modern traveler expectations for fast, dependable WiFi. The hotel turned to Zyxel for a wired and wireless networking solution to improve coverage and connectivity throughout the property.

Zyxel worked with local partners to redesign the hotel’s WLAN using an NXC2500 wireless controller, NWA5123-AC access points, and GS1920-24HP PoE+ switches. The new setup delivered stable connectivity across all areas of the hotel, enabled easy centralized management, and avoided extra wiring thanks to PoE+, while the installation was completed quickly and without complications.
