Russian Supermarket Chain Grateful for Massive Network Modernization with Zyxel Wireless Solution

JSC Gulliver, one of Russia’s leading supermarket chains with 113 stores, needed to replace an outdated network infrastructure that could no longer support its growing operations. The retailer also wanted to provide secure site-to-site connectivity between its central office and stores, along with wireless internet service in its locations. Zyxel’s wireless and VPN networking products were selected to address these challenges.

Zyxel implemented two ZyWALL 1100 VPN firewalls at the central office and NWA1100-NH long-range PoE access points across the stores to create a secure, high-speed multisite network and reliable WiFi coverage. The result was fully integrated central and remote networks, improved wireless signal quality by four times, and fast, stable, cost-effective connectivity that boosted productivity and made future expansion easier for JSC Gulliver.
