Kulkarriya Community School in Western Australia needed to extend its existing wired network with reliable wireless connectivity for classrooms and remote staff accommodations. The school faced challenges around speed, stability, secure guest access, and harsh outdoor conditions while supporting bandwidth-heavy audio and video learning resources. Zyxel’s NWA3560-N wireless access point was selected to help meet these needs.

Zyxel implemented the NWA3560-N 802.11n dual-band access points with flexible AP/controller modes, secure access management, and weather-conscious design features such as lightning arrestors and surge protection. The new wireless network enabled teachers and staff to access campus resources more easily, support smarter classroom tools like iPads and Smartboards, and create a more interactive teaching and learning experience. While no hard metrics were provided, Zyxel reported improved quality, reliability, and flexibility across the school’s network.
