Paramedic Institute in Mechelen, Belgium, a specialized training school for paramedics, needed to modernize its campus network to support growing wireless demand from students and staff across more than 65 classrooms in three buildings. To improve mobility and access for laptops, tablets, and other WiFi devices, the school turned to ZyXEL for a wireless networking upgrade.

ZyXEL implemented a bundled deployment of an NXC5200 Wireless Controller, 21 NWA5160-N managed access points, and GS2200-24 Layer-2 switches. The project was completed during a 14-day holiday window and delivered centralized management, VLAN-based separation, roaming, authentication, and load balancing, with plug-and-play AP setup and flawless operation on first power-up.
