Opéra National du Rhin - Customer Case Study

Opéra National du Rhin, France’s national opera house serving Strasbourg, Mulhouse, and Colmar, needed a stable, secure, user-friendly Wi‑Fi network that could support staff, guests, and contributors across multiple buildings while staying within a limited budget. The opera also needed coverage that could handle interference from an urban environment and separate user access for privacy and security. Zyxel provided the networking foundation, including wireless access points, managed switches, a wireless LAN controller, and a unified access gateway.

Zyxel and its integration partner AsysPro implemented a centralized, multi-site wireless solution using Zyxel NXC2500 controllers, NWA5123-NI access points, GS1910-24 switches, UAG4100 gateways, and related services. The result was reliable, robust Wi‑Fi with centralized management, secure internet access, content filtering, bandwidth control, and simplified deployment and maintenance. At an Opéra Europa forum, around 50 participants stayed connected without assistance, showing that Zyxel’s solution delivered seamless connectivity and a much smoother user experience.
