Michel Oprey & Beisterveld, a natural stone wholesaler in the Netherlands, needed to provide reliable wireless access for employees and visitors across its headquarters and showroom as BYOD use grew. To meet this challenge, Zyxel supplied wireless controller technology along with access points and supporting network equipment to create a roaming Wi-Fi environment.

Zyxel implemented a solution centered on the NXC2500 Wireless LAN Controller, NWA5123-NI Dual-Radio Unified Access Points, and supporting switches and security gateway. The result was a centrally managed network with separate employee and guest WLANs, seamless roaming across buildings, and secure, stable connectivity for mobile devices; the deployment also helped address IP address shortages. Satisfied with the outcome, Michel Oprey & Beisterveld later expanded the same Zyxel wireless setup to another location.
