Mega Mall Expands Wireless Retail Experience with Zyxel Solution
El Rosal Shopping Center in Spain needed to replace its outdated wireless network with a modern, secure, and fully customizable solution that could support growing visitor demand. The mall also required local support and a network that could scale with future needs, so it turned to Zyxel Wireless Solution.
Zyxel implemented 52 WAC6103D-I 802.11ac access points, a USG1100 security gateway, GS1920 PoE switches, and an NXC2500 wireless LAN controller to deliver secure captive portal access, guest tracking, roaming control, and centralized management. The upgrade improved wireless coverage across the 50,730 m² mall, reduced cabling needs, and provided a stable, expandable network for visitors and staff.
