A Zyxel Case Study
Grupo Antolin - Bohemia, the Czech Republic production site of global automotive components manufacturer Grupo Antolin, needed a new network infrastructure to support a central protection panel and an expanded IP camera security system. The company’s challenge was to provide sufficient PoE power for motor-driven, heated cameras while also meeting a demanding 10 Gb/s backbone requirement for reliable video transmission. Zyxel supplied the networking foundation for the project, including a 48-port Gigabit L2+ switch and a 20-port Gigabit fiber L2 switch.
Zyxel implemented a backbone built around the GS3700-48HP with an additional power supply, delivering up to 1,000 watts of PoE to support dozens of cameras, along with the XGS3600-26F for 10Gb fiber connectivity. The result was a stable, redundant, and budget-effective security network that can transmit large volumes of HD video without interruption. Zyxel’s solution improved performance beyond the typical 1 Gb/s setup and provided lifetime warranty support with next-day replacement for faulty equipment.
