Kings Broadband Pvt. Ltd., an Indian cable and Internet service provider, needed a robust, fully managed broadband infrastructure that could deliver reliable last-mile connectivity, strong ROI, and long-term investment protection. The company was looking for a cost-effective, future-ready alternative to unmanaged metro Ethernet and copper-heavy network designs, and chose Zyxel’s GEPON-based optical solution along with a 24-port Gigabit L3 switch for the core network.

Zyxel implemented an 8-port GEPON Optical Line Termination, GEPON Optical Network Units, and a 24-port Gigabit L3 Switch with 10GbE uplink to build a scalable fiber network across Kerala. The solution improved service delivery, met project requirements, reduced future costs, and provided a flexible, “future-proof” platform; Kings Broadband also grew to more than 400 LCO subscribers and supported connectivity for around 100,000 end customers, with better uptime and lower maintenance overhead.
