Kaprun Castle, the historic venue hosting Castlecamp, needed to provide reliable Wi‑Fi for more than 250 connected devices while overcoming dead zones, signal barriers, and the need to avoid damage to the castle’s structure. Zyxel was brought in to help deliver stable, secure internet access for attendees using its wireless networking solution.

Zyxel and its partner implemented a USG40 Next Generation Unified Security Gateway and three WAC6500-series 802.11ac Dual Radio Smart Antenna access points. The setup delivered high-speed, stable connectivity with strong coverage, load balancing, and minimal visual or physical impact on the historic building, and it was easily removed after the event for reuse.
