Inspired Dwellings, a UK high-end residential technology provider, needed to deliver top-class, uninterrupted connectivity across a 14-room, 12,000-square-foot new build home in Kent. With growing numbers of connected devices, multiple music zones, CCTV, and a 14-seat home theatre, the company turned to Zyxel to provide the reliable, secure networking foundation for the project.

Zyxel implemented a wireless solution built around the USG60 Unified Security Gateway, GS1920 Layer 2 switches, and the NXC2500 Wireless LAN Controller. The result was secure, reliable network performance throughout the home, enabling control of smart-home features from anywhere and supporting multiple users streaming different music at the same time. The project also helped Inspired Dwellings’ Kent home earn recognition as a finalist in the 2017 CEDIA Awards and Best Residential Project in the D-Tools Design Awards for 2017.
