Innovative Wi-Fi Solution Delivers Results at Busy Midsize Hotel in Slovakia

Hotel Tatra, a busy 200-room hotel and conference center in Bratislava, Slovakia, needed to expand reliable Wi‑Fi across its entire complex, including older buildings and the Congress Center, without disrupting daily operations. Zyxel was selected to help upgrade wireless coverage and scalability using a mix of access points, a unified access gateway, and a managed PoE switch.

Zyxel implemented a centralized Wi‑Fi solution built around the UAG4100 Unified Access Gateway, multiple Zyxel access points, and a GS1900-24HP smart managed PoE switch. The result was seamless deployment with no interruption to service, stronger signal quality across all six floors, the restaurant, administrative areas, and conference spaces, plus easier administration and monitoring through the built-in WLAN controller, improving the experience for both guests and staff.
