Indian Institute Uses Zyxel GPON End-to-End Solution to Create Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs

IIM Raipur, the Indian Institute of Management in Raipur, needed a complete network for its sprawling 200-acre campus with no existing infrastructure. The institute wanted reliable coverage for internet, voice, intercom, security cameras, and wireless access, along with centralized management and help during installation. Zyxel provided a GPON end-to-end solution to meet these needs.

Zyxel implemented a campus-wide GPON topology with products including the OLT2406, PMG5317-T20A, PMG1005-T20A, XGS4600-32, and NXC5500 to deliver scalable, centrally managed connectivity. The result was a cost-effective, secure network with strong long-distance coverage, lower electricity and maintenance costs thanks to passive hardware, and easier monitoring of devices across the campus from one location.
