Millennium Market, a multi-level shopping mall in India’s Surat textile market, needed to streamline an increasingly complex network spanning more than 100 shops. With growing numbers of switches and cabling creating inefficiency and failure risk, the mall turned to Zyxel and its GPON solution to unify shop networks under a simpler management system.

Zyxel implemented a fiber-based GPON infrastructure centered on the OLT2406 and PMG5317-T20A/PMG5318-B20B HGUs, enabling centralized monitoring through NetAtlas. The new setup reduced hardware and cabling, delivered enterprise-grade voice, video, and data services to over 100 shops, and gave Millennium Market a scalable, futureproof network with lower maintenance needs and more reliable performance.
