Hotel Seeklause - Customer Case Study

Hotel Seeklause, a family-run hotel in Seebad Trassenheide on the Baltic island of Usedom, needed to modernize its telecommunications infrastructure to meet the requirements for a 3-star rating. A key challenge was providing internet access in all rooms and across public areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and outdoor spaces. Zyxel was brought in to deliver a cost-effective WLAN solution using its hotspot products.

Zyxel implemented a hotspot network with 17 access points connected through two Zyxel switches, using products including the G-4100 v2 hotspot solution, G-3000H or NWA3100 access points, and ES-2024 PWR switches. The result was a stable, expandable wireless network that allowed Hotel Seeklause to offer low-cost internet access independently of a provider, while also covering future expansion areas such as the park and new sports facilities.
