Hotel Horizont, a mountain resort and hospitality venue in Pec pod Snezkou, Czech Republic, wanted to add Internet connectivity for staff and guests without disrupting an older building or overspending. The hotel also needed a future-proof setup that could expand over time and remain easy to maintain. Zyxel provided a unified access gateway, L2 managed PoE switch, and business access points to support the deployment.

Zyxel implemented a flexible wireless network covering common areas and selected hotel floors, with hidden access points placed in elevator shafts and a gateway that supported up to 300 users with billing and access control features.
