Historic Hotel in Venice Chooses ZyXEL Wireless Hospitality Solution

Hotel Continental Venice, a historic 93-room hotel in Venice, needed to upgrade its aging wired and wireless network to better serve both guests and staff. The hotel wanted a secure, stable, high-speed setup with separate access policies for employees and visitors, and it chose Zyxel’s hospitality networking solution to support the upgrade.

Zyxel implemented 18 NWA5121-NI access points, a NXC2500 wireless LAN controller, GS1900 smart managed switches, and USG210 unified security gateways to create two separate VLAN-based networks with captive portal access for guests and direct internal access for staff. The result was free, fast, and reliable guest Wi‑Fi, stronger network security, improved staff productivity controls, and a scalable infrastructure ready for future expansion.
