ESTEL Professional, a leading Russian cosmetics manufacturer with plants, offices, training centers, and salons across Russia and beyond, needed a more secure and scalable network to connect headquarters, regional offices, manufacturing sites, and remote users. The company’s legacy software-based security service could not keep up with growing VPN traffic, and it also needed flexible setup, stronger security, and local support. Zyxel’s business firewall and VPN solutions, including the ZyWALL series, were selected to meet these requirements.

Zyxel implemented a hardware-based network upgrade centered on the ZyWALL 1100 VPN firewall in the central office, along with ZyWALL 310 testing and other ZyWALL USG/VPN products. The new setup delivered hybrid VPN connectivity, stronger security, easier configuration, and support for multiple user types and sites, including manufacturing floors, branch offices, and salons. ESTEL reported improved productivity and faster branch connectivity, while the two-month rollout completed smoothly thanks to Zyxel training and consistent device configuration.
