Eregli Shipyard, a Turkish shipbuilding company, needed reliable wireless connectivity across a 133,075-square-meter facility filled with metal structures, heavy equipment, and electrical interference that could disrupt signals. Zyxel was brought in to help provide indoor and outdoor network coverage with wireless LAN controller and 802.11ac access points.

Zyxel implemented a wireless solution centered on the NXC2500 WLAN controller, WAC6553D-E outdoor access points, and WAC6502D-E indoor access points. The result was complete signal coverage across the shipyard, stable connectivity with no dead zones or interference, and fast high-performance data transfer to support workers and management throughout the site.
