Efficiency is King as Zyxel Helps Russian Factory Rebuild its WiFi Network

Solombala Machine-Building Plant, a manufacturing site in Arkhangelsk, Russia, needed to replace an outdated and unreliable WiFi network that was causing frequent dropouts across its offices and administrative buildings. The customer also wanted a system that would be easy to manage, while coping with thick walls and multiple separate rooms. Zyxel’s Nebula Solution was chosen to meet these needs.

Zyxel deployed five NAP102 access points managed through Nebula Control Center, with four APs covering the three-floor administrative building and one serving the neighboring service building. The new setup delivered strong, seamless wireless coverage across all 2,000 square meters, reduced the number of access points from 20 to 5, and enabled centralized, browser-based network management. Installation took only one hour, and the plant reported that everything now works as expected.
