DNS:NET, a Berlin-based B2B city carrier serving Berlin and Brandenburg, was looking for an experienced and reliable partner to help build innovative broadband access solutions that had already been proven in the field. The company needed a vendor that could ensure compatibility across products from different manufacturers, and Zyxel was selected for its networking expertise.

Zyxel implemented a mix of VDSL switches, FTTB solutions with aggregate switches, and ZyXEL IP DSLAMs with matching line cards to support deployments in locations such as the former Olympic Village in Berlin and Michendorf near Berlin. The projects helped DNS:NET expand its own network, improve broadband access in underserved areas, and establish itself as a strong alternative to larger providers, with service reaching speeds of up to 50 Mbits and plans for about 50 additional projects with Zyxel.
